FAQ
Q: What is Stand Up Paddle Boarding?
A: Stand up paddling, also known as SUP and stand up paddle surfing, involves standing up straight, feet shoulder width apart, on a big, floating surfboard. The boards are thicker and wider than normal surfboards to provide more stability. You use a long, lightweight paddle to glide over the water. SUP can be done on flatwater or, for the more experienced, in waves. Also see our About Stand Up Paddle page.
Q: Do I need to be able to surf to Stand Up Paddle Board?
A: No, you don’t need to be able to surf to enjoy flat water SUP.
Q: Do I need to be able to swim to Stand Up Paddle Board?

Q: What about rain and weather conditions?
A: Sometimes it rains even in paradise! A light shower can be refreshing and over in 5 minutes. But, if it’s torrential rain, we’ll reschedule for a more convenient time.
Additionally, if we believe the day’s weather or water conditions to be hazardous, we reserve the right to reschedule.
