Beginner lesson rates:

xx US dollars per person (tax included).
Sorry, but we currently can not accept credit cards. Payment can be made upon pick up from your hotel.

Rates includes:

• Hotel pick up and return
• 1 hour instruction
• Equipment use – Paddlesurf Hawaii/Surftech Laird boards & Kialoa/Aquaglide adjustable paddles
• Refreshments – cold, bottled water
• We’ll also take photos so you can share your Stand Up Paddle Boarding memories with your family and friends

Times:

Pick up from your hotel between 7:30 – 8am upon arrangement
Arrive at beach: 8:30am
Return to hotel between: 10 – 10:30am

Lesson info:

Our beginner lessons are designed to give you the most out of your first Stand Up Paddle Boarding experience in a fun and safe way.

Maximum 4 persons per group. We keep the group small so you can receive quality time with your instructor. ALL students must be able to swim.

Children: We can teach children 8 years and over, accompanied by an adult. They must be able to swim and be comfortable in the water.

Our beginner lessons are held in calm water where you will learn to find your balance and be standing up and paddling in no time!

Our 1 hour beginner lessons cover:

• Introduction to equipment and safe carrying techniques.
• Safety awareness, ocean etiquette, self rescue.
• Balancing exercises, correct stance, body posture and paddle technique.
• Basic turns and beach launching.
• More advanced turns for the more adventurous.

Additionally, if you decide you’ve caught the SUP bug we’d be more than happy to offer advice on equipment and how to get into the sport back home.

What to bring:

Wear your swimwear, bring plenty of sunscreen, a towel and your smiles! Footwear on the water isn’t necessary as we use beaches with sandy bottoms, but if you own aqua booties and prefer to wear them, please do.

Weather:

Sometimes it rains, even in paradise! A light shower can be refreshing and over in 5 minutes. But if it’s torrential rain, we’ll reschedule for a more convenient time.
Additionally, if we believe the day’s weather or water conditions to be hazardous, we reserve the right to reschedule.
